It's Over... )-;

It's only been a week since the show, and it finally hit me. I'm getting so sad because I realized that it's all over. After all these months, we've worked so hard and spent so much time together. We put on an amazing show, but I have to say, "Goodbye," to the "Production of 2005" and my loving senior friends. )-; On a good note, our dance was commented in "The Review," UD school newspaper, as a crowd favorite! (Makes me smile) (-; Well, to all of you out there, "Dance like no ones watching...Just Dance!" Once again, till next year, and watch out for The Production of 2006!

What a GREAT SHOW!!!!

I could not have asked for a better two nights of performances. Everything went amazing!!! I loved it! Everyone loved it! People were screaming and cheering during the dance and I got so many compliments after the show. "The Production of 2005," the name of our dance, was a success! All the long and hard practices were well worth it. I will try to get a video of the performance up, once I recieve the DVD. I want to thank everyone for coming out and supporting us. Well, so sad to see it all end, but I could not have asked for a better ending to another great year of DRDC! Till next year! (-;

Company Run Through!

Today is our company run through, where we get to see everyone's dance in the show order. It was amazing! Every one in the DRDC has put such great effort these past few months, and it really shows through their dances. There are many dances and different styles for everyone. Theres a few ballet, tap, jazz, kick-line, and hip hop. I really hope everyone can make it out to the show. It's this Friday and Saturday, so take your pic, but a ticket in Trabant or even on Ticketmaster. (Search under University of Delaware). They are $5 for students and $8 for everyone else. HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!!!!!! (-;

Three to the rescue!

I finally found a guy. I asked my friend, "Three" (his name is Ernesto, but he's the III) and he agreed to dance for me. I'm very excited, but I know how hard he is going to have to work. Especially, since everyone has been practicin for the past two months, he's going to have one week! YIKES!!!! But he is amazing, and I know this will all work. Keep your fingers crossed for me! (-;

OHHH NOO!!!!!!!

I just found out today at practice that two of my guy dancers got hurt. One was doing a back flip and broke his ankle and the other got hurt playing basketball. I know its going to be hard to find one, so we're willing to settle for one. Now, I have to find one of my friends and teach him everything in one week!!!!!!! This is going to be so stressful.

Practice, practice, practice!

Now that we only have two practices left, all we do is practice, practice, practice. We've choreogrpahed pretty much everything and are working out the little glitches such as some positioning. We are trying to make things look so perfect and have our dancers as comfortable as possible. It is very important to have your dancers know the moves and what they are going to do next without even thinking. Therefore, the dance looks so smooth and natural. The shows almost here and it's very tiring and stressful, but I'm really glad things are coming together so well.
